It was wonderful to meet with other people sharing a so particular passion,
talking about the Little Prince or simply enjoying this opportunity in which,
furthermore, it was possible to also visit Madrid and the spectacular city of Segovia.

was possible a second meeting between lovers and collectors of the Little Prince.

The history of the Fundación Cometa is intimately linked to the Little Prince.
After the destruction of the first edition of this work is part of world literature for the bombing of Kabul during its civil war,
A second edition came into being in Afghanistan thanks to the generosity of a group of friends to a collector and scholar of Afghanistan that has translated into Dari, one of two official languages of that nation.
The book was distribuited for free in schools, libraries and universities and was also distributed to women and children.
and the Spanish army partecipated in its distribution in the provinces of Badghis and Herat.
When the collector visited the country poses a view to continue doing something for women and children.
Nothing better than to foment education, lever that moves the world, by building schools.
The Foundation has the following objectives:
- To promote educational projects in war-torn countries, underdeveloped or developing through a balanced education to children and youth that would stabilize the country
and to choose a future alternative to poverty and war.
- To set the basics so that new generations will provide the talents and the values needed to get out of extreme poverty, through the cultural enrichment.
- Transmit egalitarian values and respect of human rights for men and women.
- Make women capable of being agents of change by encouraging their education.
- Empowering women because them wiil be vehicle of values of equality and human rights to their children.
